Drinking enough water is important for keeping hair shiny, healthy and growing. Not having enough water can lead to dull, dry and easily broken hair as well as breakage. Make sure you are drinking eight glasses of water a day and avoid sugar filled drinks whenever possible. Although drinking enough water may not directly make your hair grow faster, it will save you from split ends, easily broken hair and extra trimming.
Get Enough Sleep
You should sleep eight hours of sleep each night. Without enough sleep, your body will not have enough energy to keep your hair healthy and stimulate growth. Hair growth may actually happen more quickly during sleep, so if you‘re not getting enough, you‘re missing out.
Get Regular exercise
Regular exercise improves circulation throughout the whole body, including the scalp. Increased blood flow means more blood and vitamins, minerals, protein, etc being supplied to hair roots. Although it will not produce the same results as exercise, you can also increase blood circulation to the scalp by stimulating your scalp with a daily gentle massage.
There are many ways for hair growth without surgery or chemicals. A healthy diet that includes high protein is one way to increase hair growth as it increases blood flow and the amount of vitamins. Some herbs and simple kitchen ingredients also have properties that may encourage hair regrowth. Castor oil, coconut oil, Amla oil, olive oil and apple cider vinegar can be massaged into the scalp for hair growth. The pulp of a fresh onion, when rubbed on the scalp, has the same effect. Drinking spinach, alfalfa, lettuce and carrot juices may improve hair growth also.
